Central Coast’s hurlers sealed their place in the league semi finals with a six point win over McAnallen’s in round five of the league on Sunday in Monarch Park, Ingleburn.
Their ability to take scores especially in the second half saw them over the line with six points to spare.
McAnallen’s took the lead early on with points from Kilkenny duo John Kearney and Steven Shortt, however Coast fought back to lead 4‐3 at half-time with the impressive Craig Doyle finding the range from both frees and open play.
McAnallen’s took the lead again early in the second half with Kearney again as well as a fine score by Johnny Brophy, but a tenth minute goal from Coast saw them back on top.
Micheal O’Keefe extended the lead with two quick frees and with further scores from Doyle they ended up comfortable winners.
