We are excited to host Sydney St Patrick's Day in the Rocks on Sunday 17th March 2019. Come along and celebrate everything Irish as we transform the Rocks into an Irish village for the day. The parade will commence at First Fleet Park and end at Dawes Point Reserve where the festival will be held. Over a 25-year career, she has worked as a business journalist, magazine editor, media communications director and legal author. She ranks in The Irish Times ‘Most-Read’ and has won or been shortlisted for poetry awards in Australia, the USA, the UK, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Canada.

Magners Sydney Irish Festival

The Sydney Irish Festival kicks off on Saturday 10 November with family friendly entertainment throughout the day including traditional Irish dance performances, hurling clinics, amusement rides, player autograph sessions, market stalls, activities for kids of all ages and a Guinness Book of Records attempt to make the world’s biggest Irish stew. Enjoy comedy and live music throughout the day culminating in a major concert commencing at sunset with Damien Dempsey, Mary Black, Lunasa and Saint Sister. 

Day two on Sunday 11 November will commence with the Big Irish Brunch, more family friendly activities and live music in the build up to the pre-game welcome parade of the teams into the stadium, before Galway and Kilkenny battle it out. Keep updated via the website.

Teresa Keating has been at the beginning of many, and involved in all things Irish since she arrived in the Land of Aus more than 35 years ago. She knows almost everyone and even more people know her, but most of all Teresa is a doer.

She has represented the Irish Government on trade, as the Manager of Corás Trachtála in all its incarnations (today Enterprise Ireland), and investments, as Manager of IDA Ireland and also Executive Director of the Ireland Funds, since 1991. From 2000 based in the Irish Consulate, Teresa devoted her time between the IDA Ireland and the Ireland Funds.
